My parents, John and Antonia, were both raised in Southern Italy. Italian was the primary language in my home, where love and food were synomynous. My parents were both doing the cooking and wonderful aromas filled the air, Saturdays brought fresh bread and pizza, Sundays brought the rich smell of "gravy" made early morning and enjoyed after church. To this day I have not tasted a better made meatball than the one made by my Dad.
Through all this I learned to love food, wine, dining and great conversations, the essence of life along with the love you share with your family.
On this page I would like to share some of my families recipes along with the history that accompanies them.
