PATHS to Explore

Now that you’ve built consistent awareness and are making more Human Sustainable food choices, you can start flexing your Giving Nature a little more and explore creating a more committed diet.  Just remember, there is no failure when you follow PATHS.  If your actions don’t match your commitment, readjust your goal to realistically reflect your action.  Even if you use your Giving Nature once a week, you’re still making a compassionate difference.

If your awareness is now strong enough to where you’re ready to be more deliberate in your diet, try doing a plant based diet for at least one day a week.  If that works try two days a week.  Dinner is usually the most difficult so don’t get frustrated if you can’t get there. Just do what you can do consistently.  Above all else, keep your Giving Nature active.  This should help avoid a sense of guilt and worry whenever you’re food choices don’t match what’s in your heart. Guilt will only lead to erosion of awareness. After all, you have to be compassionate to yourself first before you can eat with compassion.
