PATHS to Begin
The key to PATHS is awareness. We believe awareness is the natural way to make lasting foundational change because your not thinking about a disciplined change of behavior but conscious decision making instead. You’re just becoming more aware and guiding yourself to a better place.
To begin, start by eating with your Giving Nature in mind. Bring it into the present and use it to consider whether your food choice was made through your compassion for others. Ask yourself if there was an alternative choice that would have been just as satisfying and more in keeping with your Giving Nature. The only rule to follow here is consistency. Keep asking the question proposed and be aware of all that you feel about your food choice each time you eat. This will lead you to not only a sustainable diet but a mindfulness towards human sustainability in general.
